Our scientific assistant Dr. Simon Praetorius gets honored for his excellent doctoral thesis "Efficient Solvers for the Phase-Field Crystal Equation - Development and Analysis of a Block-Preconditioner" with the Georg-Helm-Price 2016.
The presentation takes place on January 21, 2017 organized by the founder, Verein zur Förderung von Studierenden der TU Dresden e.V. Every year 3 award winners get honored with the Georg-Helm-Price. Each of them get a medal consisting of Meissen porcelain and prize money of 2500 Euro.
