Snow seminar in Klínovec

This years SNOW-Seminar took place from 11th to 15th of March 2024. 16 participants from three different institutes joined us for a week in the Klínovec mountains to make new contacts and work on topics outside of everyday work. In particular, the participants split into groups and  investigated the capabilities of the software Dune to solve Hodge-Laplace-Equations within the FEEC Framework, ways to measure the shapes of curves on manifolds, and countered the lack of snow in the skiing area with various Julia-based simulations of snow under different conditions. Overall we look back on a seminar that allowed us to dive into new topics and strengthened the connections within the scientific computing community in Dresden.
