Research focus

• Promoting students’ critical thinking in the teaching of physics, specifically particle physics

• Developing prospective STEM teachers's competencies in developing effective teaching units to encourage students' critical thinking

• Encouraging prospective physics teachers to critically reflect on the use of AI-generated content

• Developing a domain-specific approach to critical thinking for teaching quantum physics in teacher training

• Promoting critical, creative and caring thinking in the context of environmental issues

• Seminar "Promoting students' critical thinking through teaching physics"

Teaching

• Organizer and supervisor of various courses, including Physikalische Schulexperimente 1-4, seminar Methods in Physics Teaching, practical school exercise (SPÜ) in physics

• Development and evaluation of teaching units in the context of environmental problems to promote critical, creative and caring thinking (3 theses)
• Development of teaching units in astroparticle physics (2 theses)
• Development and testing of a digital game on quantum cryptography (1 paper)
