Our chair is nationally and internationally networked

The chair of didactics of physics maintains several national and international co-operations.
In these co-operations, projects are carried out, teaching and learning materials are developed and experiences are exchanged.
The international collaborations not only enrich research through joint projects and intensive exchange, but also enable an exchange of lecturers and students, e.g. as part of the ERASMUS programme.

Selected cooperations of the chair

Cooperation with the Netzwerk Teilchenwelt

The Chair of Didactics of Physics supports the Netzwerk Teilchenwelt in the creation and further development of teaching materials, in teacher training and in the evaluation of didactic aspects of the particle physics masterclasses

Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf

The DeltaX school laboratory at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf aims to get young people interested in science at an early age. Since its foundation in 2011, the laboratory has been closely involved in didactic research. Students from the Chair of Didactics of Physics are involved in the supervision of school classes or write their final theses at DeltaX.

Department of Science Education, Weizmann Institut (Rehovot, Israel)

We cooperate internationally with the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot. The research focus of the cooperation is "Mathematics in Physics Education".
