Collaborations
The first generation of the experimental setups of the NQM lab were envisioned and developed in the department of Prof. Klaus Kern at MPI-FKF. In addition, the collaboration with the group of Prof. Jörg Wrachtrup in University of Stuttgart, provides us with very high quality diamond nanopillar array samples which are custom designed with shallowly implanted NVs of desired depth profiles. Using controlled surface modifications and surface chmistry approaches in our UHV LT setups, we try to improve the optical and spin properties of such shallowly implanted NV sensors.
We are collaborating with Prof. Dr. Adam Gali from Wigner Research Centre for Physics in Hungary, for theoretiocal modelling and understanding of our measurements of optical and spin properties of shallow NV centers in diamond.
For our project on synthetic antiferromagnets, we are collaborating with the group of Prof. Olav Helwig in HZDR. In addition, we have recently initiated a collaboration with Prof. Bernd Büchner in IFW, Dresden, in which we will be exploring the unconventional interplay between magnetism and superconductivity in a 2D van der Waals material.
