Study program offered by the chair
Besides basic lectures in physics, we also offer corresponding seminars and lab courses. For bachelor and master students in physics we provide specialized courses about current topics in the field of solid state and materials physics. The latter give a sound and modern introduction to the physics of quantum materials and their exploration using novel spectroscopy and scattering experiments. Here you can also find information about bachelor or master theses in our group.

Studying at the Chair of Physics of Quantum materials
In addition to basic research in the field of quantum materials, you can learn a lot about the latest experimental techniques and new methods of computer-aided data analysis. The latter extend into the area of "Big Data" and, in the future, also into the area of "Machine Learning".
