How to reach us:

The Institute for Theoretical Physics resides on the first floor in the "Bürogebäude Zellescher Weg" (BZW), Zellescher Weg 17. The bus stop "Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek" of bus route 61 is located in front of the building. Openstreetmap shows the location of the building.

By train

From the main station (Hauptbahnhof) take bus route 66 uptown (south, toward the final destination Coschütz, Gittersee, Mockritz, or Südhöhe) to the second stop at "Technische Universität". From here, you can walk or take bus route 61 east (towards Weißig, Fernsehturm, Bühlau, or Btf. Gruna) to the first stop at "Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek".

By plane

From the airport take suburban train S2 (train station below the terminal) to Hauptbahnhof. From there continue as above.

By car

Follow Autobahn A4 to junction "Dresden West", then Autobahn A17 to exit "Dresden Südvorstadt". From here, drive towards downtown (north), turn right (east, following the street sign to Pirna) into the street "Zellescher Weg". Our building appears on your left after about 400m. You can use the parking lot of the Saxon State Library to your right. Alternatively, follow the road further until you can turn around. Our building has an underground parking lot, the entrance is to the right of the building.
