Awards

TU Dresden honored the best graduates of the graduating class of 2022/23 on December 01, 2023. In physics, both awards went to students from our group!

The Lohrmann Medal of the TUD was awarded to Charlotte Bäcker - an article with parts of her outstanding master thesis Trajectory Representation of non-Markovian Quantum Dynamics has now been published(https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevLett.132.060402). We are very pleased that she will now continue her research with us as a doctoral student.

Valentin Boettcher has received the Ehrenfried Walter von Tschirnhaus award. The article, which is largely based on his excellent Master's thesis Energy Flow in Strongly Coupled Open Quantum Systems , has also already been published(https://doi.org/10.1063/5.0192075). Valentin Boettcher has now started a doctoral program at McGill University in Montreal/Canada.
