A01
This project studies spin-liquid states of geometrically frustrated magnets using a combination of field-theoretic and microscopic approaches. This includes identifying new types of spin liquids theoretically as well as understanding and devising measurements on real-world materials aimed at identifying spin-liquid behavior. We will in particular focus on intermediate-energy dynamics in spin liquids and proximate phases, on metallic spin liquids, as well as on strain tuning of frustrated magnets.
