Project completion GBU-SmarD
The "Gesunde Arbeit mit Smart Devices - GBU SmarD" [Healthy work with smart devices - GBU SmarD] project started in 2022 with the aim of creating a risk analysis of the stress caused by smart devices and a catalog of measures. The project was completed on 31.08.2025 after approximately three years of successful work.
A comprehensive action guide was created as part of the project. It contains the first risk assessment for mobile devices as work equipment (smartphone, tablet, data glasses, smartwatch). At the same time, it addresses the need for companies to consider potential hazards when selecting and introducing devices.

It will then be made publicly available in the DGUV database and/or on the website of accident insurance institutions.
