D. Talmi: What would I feel tomorrow: Towards a computational understanding of subjective pain experiences

Abstract
In this talk I will make the case that if constructed emotion theory is a good theory of emotion in general, it should also be a good theory of pain; and that testing its predictions for pain is simpler than testing its predictions for emotions. I will then present studies conducted in my lab that support the predictive processing account of pain intensity reports, focusing on experiments that had potential to challenge and expand this account, and on robust scientific methods
