Chair of Social Psychology
At the chair of Social Psychology, we are interested in judgment and decision-making processes, especially when these decisions are difficult. We study how ambivalence nd confidence influence affective, behavior, and cognition. We are also interested in how difficulty in decision making can help people make better decisions, and how we view others who are struggling with decision-making. We place our research at the heart of the issues that matter most to people, such as (close) relationships, leadership, behavioral change, and societal issues.
