Maria Theresa Falter successfully defends her dissertation
We would like to congratulate Ms. Falter on her doctorate with the title: Promoting innovation in the Bangladeshi RMG industry: The role of organizational error culture, innovation centers, training for innovation, and well-being of employees.
Ms. Falter successfully conducted a total of four studies on these issues, even during a period of revolution in Bangladesh. As one reviewer notes: Theoretically, the dissertation is based on a multi-level understanding of innovation that integrates individual, team-related, organizational, and industry-related influencing factors. A particular focus is placed on supportive organizational structures and practices, especially management support, innovation centers, and a culture of constructive error as prerequisites for innovation, learning, and well-being. The promising results were skillfully presented and discussed on February 27.
We are delighted that digital participation from Bangladesh was even possible and that GIZ project partners were among the large audience! The truly successful doctoral hat also shows what this work was all about and that considerable travel was required.
Many thanks to everyone who supported this very exciting and innovative project!
