Master's thesis available - starting fall 2024!
Topic: Effects of social goals and social means in different types of companies on employee well-being and performance
For some years now, many companies have been pursuing social goals rather than purely monetary ones. For example, social enterprises aim both to generate their own income and to tackle social problems such as poverty. In addition, social means in work design are increasing in company practice, e.g. in the sense of increasing employee participation in important decisions.
With the help of a laboratory experiment, the advertised master's thesis should help to better understand the impact of social goals and social means as well as their interaction in commercial and social enterprises. Various indicators of employee performance and well-being will be considered as dependent variables. A special focus will be placed on the drift of goals and means in the company over time.
This Master's thesis builds on an existing Master's thesis and is to be carried out in cooperation with another Master's student (especially in data collection). The preparation of an independent and individual Master's thesis is guaranteed.
Method: Laboratory experiment with own data collection, sufficient test subjects are available
Start: From fall 2024
