Networking event at Leipzig University: Maria Thissen with Keynote on diversity management
On May 24, 2024, our employee Maria Thissen participated in a networking event organized by the Career Services of Leipzig University. There she presented her research topic "Diversity Management" in a keynote speech as part of the mentoring program.
In her presentation, Maria Thissen shed light on how diversity plays different roles in organizations and companies and how tailor-made diversity management is needed to ensure a meaningful and successful handling of diversity. Her presentation was met with great interest by the mentees and mentors in attendance, which led to a lively discussion. Many participants emphasized that they appreciated the scientific perspective and classification.
After the presentation, the participants could exchange ideas on various topics, including diversity. These informal discussions provided an ideal platform for in-depth discussions and networking.
The event was a complete success and once again demonstrated the relevance and topicality of diversity management in today's working world, university, and society.
