Congratulations to Sofia Meyer on the successful defence of her doctoral thesis

On 29.10.2024, Sofia Meyer successfully defended her scientific thesis within the framework of the doctoral procedure on the topic "Examining the role of the core and extended face network in familiar face processing in neurotypicals and developmental prosopagnosia subtypes – a functional MRI study ".

The thesis was supervised by Prof. Katharina von Kriegstein (TU Dresden) and Dr. Corrina Maguinness (TU Dresden).  The reviewers of the thesis were Prof. Dr. med. Katharina von Kriegstein (TU Dresden) and Prof. Dr. med. Michael Smolka (University Clinic Carl Gustav Carus, Dresden).
