Research Internships
If you would like to gain an insight into practical research, we offer you a research internship in the field of cognitive computational modeling or recording cognitive/neural process dynamics. In a research internship, you will gain hands-on experience and learn the basic methods by working independently on a research question under our supervision.
You can complete a research internship either voluntarily alongside your studies or as part of a compulsory internship. It is ideal if you want to
- would like to gain an insight into everyday psychological research.
- would like to acquire knowledge of modern modeling and measurement methods.
- would like to develop a model for a research question using one of the modeling methods we offer.
- would like to investigate a psychological research question using dynamic methods.
- would like to contribute to the development of new dynamic methods.
- would like to gain experience in programming (programming dynamic experiments, dynamic analyses or computational models).
- would like to prepare for a thesis at the Chair with new specialist knowledge.
During your internship we offer you
- a complete workplace in our working group.
- Integration into our working group, meetings and research colloquium.
- Supervision by members of the Chair who are experienced in your topic.
- The opportunity to gain experience in conducting studies, working with modern data collection methods (mouse tracking, eye tracking, EEG) and the modeling process.
We look forward to hearing from you.
