Our institute covers the entire field of clinical psychology and psychotherapy, including health psychology. Characteristic is the project-related research orientation with various projects regarding:

• the derivation, development and testing of improved etiological and pathogenetic models for mental disorders,
• the investigation of the connection between various mental disorders and mental disorders and somatic diseases,
• research into electrophysiological and neurobiological changes as mechanisms and risk factors for mental disorders,
• the derivation of improved diagnostic methods and models,
• the derivation, development and evaluation of improved intervention principles in therapy and prevention,
• the derivation, testing and implementation of new care strategies and models.
