Our research fields in the area of clinical child and adolescent psychology include:
- Effects of early relational and interactional experiences on child development, particularly in relation to attachment, emotions and psychopathologies.
- Psychobiological (cortisol, alpha-amylase, heart rate variability) and neuroendocrine correlates (oxytocin) of social interactions.
- (transgenerational) effects of parental depression, anxiety disorders, and traumatic experiences on child development.
- Parent-child attachment and bonding disorders
- Early childhood disorders, including early infant regulation disorders (crying, sleeping and feeding problems) and attachment disorders.
- Couple interaction and parental couple relationship in the transition to parenthood
