The UFP
The University Outpatient Clinic and Research Centre for Psychotherapy (UFP) at TU Dresden gGmbH offers cognitive behavioural therapy in Dresden. We carry out psychotherapy with children, adolescents and adults. We treat all mental disorders for which psychotherapy is indicated.
The UFP runs the university outpatient clinic of our institute. With its focus on behavioural therapy, the UFP forms the interface between patient care, research and university teaching. Licensed psychotherapists with a specialist qualification in behavioural therapy work in our outpatient clinic.
Our patients benefit from the psychotherapeutic treatment approaches of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). We are guided by the latest research findings. At the same time, we contribute to the continuous improvement of behavioural therapy treatment methods through our own scientific studies. Our outpatient clinic also takes on teaching duties in the training of psychologists and psychotherapists at the TU Dresden.
A team of experienced psychotherapists works in our outpatient clinic. Treatments are carried out individually or in groups and are aimed at all age groups. The costs of treatment are generally covered by statutory and private health insurance companies.
