Who we are and what we do
Clinical Psychology of Childhood and Adolescence (short: Clinical Child Psychology) is a multifaceted, interdisciplinary and both basic and application-oriented branch of Clinical Psychology.
Since October 2018, the work group "Mental Health of Children and Adolescents" led by Prof. Dr. Susanne Knappe has been located at the Institute of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at the Faculty of Psychology of the TU Dresden.
The work group is currently financed by project-related third-party funds from the BMG and the Innovation Fund.
Um eine Ausbreitung des Coronavirus zu verhindern, sind wir angehalten, zuhause zu bleiben. Kitas, Schulen und zahlreiche Firmen haben geschlossen. Das ist für Viele eine Geduldsprobe - und für Manche eine echte Bedrohung. Wenn Familien und Partner gemeinsam in Isolation bleiben müssen, erhöht sich die Gefahr für Konflikte, Krisen und Gewalt.
Susanne Knappe und dem Team der Ambulanz für Kinder und Jugendliche der IAP-TU Dresden GmbH, niedergelassene Kinder- und Jugendlichenpsychotherapeutinnen und -therapeuten aus Dresden und Umgebung haben dazu eine Übersicht für junge und jugendliche Patienten und ihre Familien zu ambulanten Hilfen bei seelischen Krisen in Zeiten von Corona zusammengestellt.
