Max Weniger studied psychology at the SRH Hochschule für Gesundheit in Gera with a Bachelor's and Master's degree. His master thesis focused on the connection between specific emotion regulation strategies and internal and/or external behavioural disorders in children and adolescents. Since November 2018 he has been working at the Institute of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, Chair of Behavioral Epidemiology as a research associate and PhD student. He is a member of the working group "Mental Health of Children and Adolescents" and is active in the project "Primary indicated and optimized allocation in emotional and behavioural problems in children" (PROMPt).
