Stephan Mende, Antje Proske und Susanne Narciss published their article "Individual preparation for collaborative learning: Systematic review and synthesis" in renowned peer-reviewed journal "Educational Psychologist". The team of the chair congratulates the authors!
The article reviews existing research results with regard to the question of whether and under which conditions collaborative learning processes and results can be fostered by preceding the collaboration by a phase of individual engagement with the learning content. Based on this, a heuristic model is presented.
