Our focus
On the one hand, the work group deals with aetiopathological processes and risk analyses within the framework of basic research in order to understand resilient or vulnerable persons with regard to the use of psychotropic substances and participation in gambling. On the other hand, the findings will be tested in practice in three areas from a risk management point of view: consumer protection for gamblers, safety-relevant workplaces and therapy studies on dependent behaviour.
