Expert Plenary in the theme of ‘Sustainable textile production in Bangladesh’ at the Faculty of Business and Economics
On 11. and 12.10.2018 international experts will meet in the Festsaal of the Faculty of Business and Economics to discuss the theme of “Sustainable Textile Production in Bangladesh”
This expert plenary is organised by the Chair of Environmental Management and Accounting and PRISMA – The Centre for Sustainability Assessment and Policy, and concludes a 10-day workshop with eight project partners from Universities in Bangladesh. The workshop is part of a DAAD-funded project which aims to introduce the theme of sustainability into the curriculum of University-level textile courses in Bangladesh. The main objective is to build skills for curriculum development and mentoring partners in Bangladesh to raise awareness of sustainability issues for future leaders in the textile industry. The following experts will give insights into different aspects of sustainability along the value chain of the textile industry and will encourage discussions on the topic:
