PRISMA - Sustainability Assessment and Policy Award for groundbreaking research on sustainability assessment and policy Topic: circular economy in a sustainable society
PRISMA - Centre for Sustainability Assessment is a virtual center where scientists and researchers from Technische Universität Dresden, UNU-FLORES, Leibniz Institute of Econlogical Urban and Regional Development (IOER) and other research institutes as well as private companies jointly research on assessment and policies for sustainability taking into account geographical and time-related conditions and including transfer of research results into politics, industry and society.
For the first ever PRISMA - Sustainability Assessment and Policy Award more than 50 papers where submitted from all over the world. The Jury was amazed by the quality and relevance of the submitted papers - The process of finding the winners was not easy. As there were several outstanding publications, the jury decided to split the prize into three parts with one first and two second prizes in the following order:
1st Prize (1000 Euro)
“Towards a more circular construction sector: Estimating and spatialising current and future non-structural material replacement flows to maintain urban building stocks”
