Green travel isn’t just about reducing your ecological footprint and using mostly eco-friendly, sustainable, and low-emission modes of transportation for trips to and from other countries—such as bicycles, long-distance buses, carpooling, trains, and kayaks... You’ll often find yourself more relaxed while traveling, save time and/or money, receive additional funding through the Erasmus program, and definitely experience your trip in a much more mindful way.

To make travel and its environmental impact as climate-friendly as possible, we recommend that you always use low-emission modes of transportation for trips shorter than 500 km.
