Fulbright travel grants

Dear students,

The Fulbright travel grant supports you in your studies at a US partner university as part of your exchange semester in the 2026/27 academic year. 

Requirements: 
- German citizenship
- Length of stay: min. 3.5 and max. 9 months
- BA and MA students

Scholarship benefits: 
- Participation in the Fulbright Welcome Weekend (17-19 April 206)
- Financing of transatlantic travel costs with a lump sum of €2,000
- Programme support from Fulbright Germany
- Admission to the Fulbright Germany network of scholarship holders and alumni
