Dear Students,

German early career researchers can apply for a doctoral scholarship from Fulbright Germany until 1 May 2025. Funding is available for research projects lasting four to six months at a US university or research institution, starting between 1 January 2026 and 31 May 2026.

The scholarship covers living expenses of €2,400/month, transatlantic travel and health/accident insurance. The Fulbright J-1 visa is free of charge and a flat rate of €300 is available for other incidental costs.
