International faculty cooperation
There are many non-formalized collaborations between TU Dresden chairs and Institutes and universities all over the world. Through these partnerships, tuition fees at the host university are usually waived. You can obtain more detailed information on application modalities and stay options directly from the professors of the faculties. They will provide information on the content and procedure of the stay abroad, which is usually planned and organized very individually. You are also welcome to use our Mobility Online database, which provides information on various exchange opportunities at TUD Dresden University of Technology. Please note that due to a database change, university and departmental cooperations as well as individual faculty cooperations may not yet be listed in the overview.
You can finance stays that fall outside the ERASMUS+ funding areas with the PROMOS scholarship program, for example, and apply for BAföG abroad. You can also find out about other funding opportunities by subscribing to the International Office newsletterand looking out for current notices in the International Office or on the TUD campus. You will also find regular information about current calls for applications under Study Abroad and, of course, you are always welcome to attend our open consultation hours in the International Office's Infocenter , where you can get general advice on studying abroad.
ISAP - International Study and Training Partnerships
As part of the International Study and Training Partnerships, scholarships are awarded for a study visit abroad within the framework of subject-related partnerships. As a student, you can complete a fully recognized part of your studies at a partner university. The scholarships are administered by the DAAD and for German students include a monthly country-specific full scholarship, a one-off country-specific lump sum for travel expenses, an insurance lump sum and, if applicable, a maximum of 50% of the tuition fees. Applications are made directly to the program representatives, usually towards the end of the calendar year preceding the academic year abroad, i.e. around December for a stay abroad from the following winter semester.
