Accessability Mobility Online
Declaration on Accessibility
The International Office of the TU Dresden makes every effort to ensure that its websites
- https://www.service4mobility.com/europe/login?identifier=DRESDEN02&is_sso=1&sprache=de
- https://www.service4mobility.com/europe/MobilitySearchServlet?identifier=DRESDEN02&kz_bew_pers=S&kz_bew_art=OUT&sprache=de
are accessible in accordance with national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and Council.
This declaration on accessibility applies to the application platform, the exchange portal and the administrative access to Mobility Online, the university-wide database application for mobility and partnership management.
Issuing of this Declaration on Accessibility
This declaration was issued on 28.09.2020. The last check of the web presence of Mobility Online of the TU Dresden and this declaration was completed on 18.06.2021.
The basis for the preparation of this declaration on accessibility is the current state of implementation of the Mobility Online database and the presentation implemented to date by the company SOP Hilmbauer & Mauberger GmbH. No BITV self-test has yet been carried out with the current version of the website due to comprehensive design adjustments currently under development; this will be carried out following the design revision. The TU Dresden will subsequently check the changes and, if possible, continue to take necessary measures to ensure comprehensive accessibility of the application.
Status of compatibility with the requirements of the BITV
No BITV test with the current version 2.0 for the website has yet been carried out. This is planned after completion of the current adjustments to the legal requirements. The user screens of the Mobility Online application differentiate between administrative screen and student/public screen. For students/public views, 100% conformity is aimed for.
Content that is not deemed accessible
The contents listed below are not barrier-free for the following reasons:
Disproportionate burden
- Alternative texts for images within the application and on the public portal page are missing.
- Contrasts are partly insufficient (text in front of semi-transparent backgrounds is not readable, see above).
- For technical reasons, the hierarchy of headings cannot be applied comprehensively on the website.
- For some fields labels/descriptions are missing.
- There is no language assigned to the website.
- Some of the buttons are not labelled.
- In some cases tables are used for layout purposes (do not have a header line / column or contain empty table cells)
For the period in which the Mobility Online application is already in use as an information and application portal, but the design adaptations have not yet been completed, students and staff can contact the staff unit 8.3/International Office at any time and receive support in using the application in an advisory capacity.
