For international students: Insured, but Smart – What you really need (and what you don't need) (engl.)
Online-Workshop (BigBlueButton)
Teaching Language: English
Insurance companies are a common presence on campus – but do you, as a student or
recent graduate, really need liability, disability, or accident insurance already? In this workshop, you'll get a clear and independent overview of the most important types
of insurance – without sales pressure or marketing hype. You’ll learn:
- Which types of insurance actually make sense for students and graduates.
- What’s legally required – and what’s optional.
- Which common mistakes you should avoid.
- What to watch out for when signing a contract (and when it might be better to wait).
Whether you're just starting your studies or about to enter the job market – this session
will help you protect yourself wisely, without wasting money on unnecessary coverage.
You can register for this offer via OPAL. The access link to the video conference tool (BigBlueButton) will be sent to all participants registered via OPAL before the start of the online workshop.
