Feedback from our student participants
Annika, Diploma in Electrical Engineering
"I am studying electrical engineering in my last semester. For me, the Branchentreff [Mobility] is a good introduction to starting a career. Great were the pitches of the employers at the beginning, so I had an overview of which company does what before I talked to them."
Ahsan Quamrul, Master in Textile Engineering
"Many thanks for your video link and nice co-operation. I have successfully done well on my job interview and got a job starting from next month. I would like to thank you and all the TUD Career Service team members to provide me guidelines about writing a CV, Cover Letters, Job Searches in Germany, Job interviews, and other important topics. That helps me a lot to find out my dream job in Germany. I wish please keep continue these kinds of activities always, tips actually work."
Sangho Lee – 2. Semester Master Cartography
"I thank you again for all the support you have given me. Your job is a great help for international students who want to start a career in Germany when everything is still in gray clouds."

"The Career Service is an important contact point for me. Every lecturer should point out the Career Service right from the first semester."

"I would have loved to have attended your events beginning in my first week at university. Such a great offer must be taken advantage of – keep up the good work!"
Sophia Kunze - 2nd semester sociology (BA)
"Very good partners from the practical side on varied topics. The lecture by Maja Hillmann very helpful to think about what you want or what you don't want. The event is ideal for collecting ideas when starting your career! Keep it up, Career Service Team!!!"
Stefan Wagner
"The case studies have furthered my personal growth and professional focus. I gained valuable experience from working in a team and was able to establish close contact with company representatives".
Student of Continuing Education Research and Organisational Development
"This day was very informative. The programme was good and varied, and it gave us a better insight into the subject. It offered interesting topics and time went by quickly. The panel discussion was also a good idea".
Sebastian Winkler, Physics
"The microelectronics industry get-together showcased many interesting companies in a relaxed atmosphere. I was particularly surprised by the smaller companies. It's very exciting to hear which cutting-edge materials are being used for applications in Dresden. All in all, I was able to get into friendly conversations with company representatives at the industry get-together."
Markus Krause, 7th semester Information Systems Technology
"Who does what in the microelectronics industry and to which employer does my qualification fit best? The combination of short company presentations and the opportunity to clarify questions individually with the company representatives gave me a very good overview of the market. I am enthusiastic about the microelectronics industry get-together.
Maximilian Uhlmann, student of materials science and mathematics tutor for mechanical engineering students
"I attended the workshop before this semester in the lecture-free period and was very satisfied overall. I learned a lot in the workshop, including how to work with groups, both in general and in situations of conflict. I found the information on preparing the exercise and planning the learning process particularly valuable. Now I can design my exercise and set out what the students should get out of it.
I was able to apply some of what I had learned this semester, e.g. how to plan an exercise appropriately (scheduling time for a certain task, being aware of student and tutor activities, formulating the goal of the segment) and how to get appropriate feedback from the students. All in all, I highly recommend the workshop, especially because the tutor, Mrs. Schneider, creates a very friendly and open atmosphere, and you can exchange ideas and problems with student tutors from other disciplines".
Student with a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering
"Thank you very much for your kind response and this comprehensive amount of information. I really appreciate it."

"Your seminars are a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to the next one."
"How do you imagine entering the job market, everyday life as a professional, as well as the various careers in the media industry? These questions are answered by Tatort Praxis! Great organisation, great event, great partners! Be sure to hold it again next year, but perhaps with more partners from Dresden and the region to make the city more interesting for the media industry. Many greetings - Melina and Anja".
