Central European Campus Neisse/Nisa starts
It should have been a ceremonious reception for Czech and German students at the Technical University of Liberec in order to meet and to get to know each other... But due to current conditions, it turned out as a video conference...
September 29th, winter semester started at TU Liberec - and with it the possibility (unique in Europe!) to combine the courses of the masters' programme "International Management" freely from the offer of two universities in two countries and to commute every week hence and forth between the two campi, only about one hour trip apart from each other (by foot/train/tram): TU Dresden's International Institute (IHI) Zittau on the German side of the German-Czech-Polish border triangle and the Faculty of Economics of the Technical university of Liberec in the Czech Republic.
Those, who acquire more than 30 ECTS at both partner universities, will be graded with two masters' diploma at the ende of their studies - that's the "Central European Campus Neisse/Nisa"!
In spite of the time conditions, 26 students enroled in the 1st intake of TU Liberec - quite a remarkable number for both partner insitutions.
Professor Claus, director of IHI Zittau, is convinced: "We're creating a unique model of trans-European studies, here!"
