Teaching Strategy Board recommends further proposals
At its last meeting on March 7, 2024, the Teaching Strategy Board made its recommendations for the further processing of the proposed solutions that had been developed last year by three cross-status working groups. The proposals are aimed at the further development of teaching at TU Dresden and deal with definitions, key competencies, curriculum design in terms of subject content and didactics, the (further) qualification of stakeholders involved in teaching, aspects relating to quality management of studies and teaching, and the development of technical portals or central contact points. All proposed solutions touch on wider topics such as sustainability, accessibility, internationalization and diversity.
In total, the Teaching Strategy Board has reviewed and commented on all 30 proposed solutions and provided information for the subsequent development of the action plans. The Board's recommendations have been published under the respective proposed solutions.
The university public was also invited to provide feedback on the 30 proposed solutions by March 7, 2024. A total of 148 comments were left on the specially created task cards. The email feedback option was also used intensively. This provided important impetus and information for the development of the action plans.
The preliminary development of the action plans will be completed by the teaching strategy team in the coming weeks. They will then be presented in various feedback loops and can be supplemented. The aim remains to publish a binding teaching strategy for TU Dresden at the end of the year.
