1. Applying to switch Faculty Student Bodies

If you are enrolled in one of the teacher training programs at secondary schools (Oberschulen or Gymnasien) or in two degree programs in parallel, you can choose which Faculty Student Body you belong to and in which Faculty Student Body you want to participate in the upcoming Faculty Student Council election. You can find out which Faculty Student Body you are currently a member of on Selma under [Account] in the [Personal data] folder. You need to apply to change via email by November 19, 2024 for the Faculty Student Body election taking place December 10–12, 2024.

Please note the following for Teacher Training Faculty Student Council elections!
All teacher training students enrolled in secondary school (Oberschule or Gymnasium) programs now belong to the “General Schools and Elementary Schools” (Allgemeinbildende Schulen und Grundschulen) Faculty Student Body. You must cast your vote for this Faculty Student Body, unless you inform us that you would like to transfer to another Faculty Student Body in line with your subjects. You must then participate in the November Faculty Student Body elections as part of this Faculty Student Body. If you require other information that would facilitate your choice of Faculty Student Body, please contact the Student Council or the relevant Faculty Student Body.

2. Applying to switch Faculties

If you are enrolled in one of the teacher training programs at secondary schools (Oberschulenor Gymnasien) or in two degree programs in parallel, you can choose which Faculty you would like to belong to and in which Faculty you want to participate in the upcoming Faculty Board elections. You can find out which Faculty you are currently a member of on Selma under [Account] in the [Personal data] folder. You need to apply to change via email by November 15, 2024, for the Faculty Board election taking place December 10–12, 2024.

Teacher training students: Please note the following for Faculty Board elections!
All teacher training students enrolled in secondary school (Oberschule or Gymnasium) programs now belong to their first registered subject’s Faculty. You must cast your vote within this Faculty, unless you inform us that you would like to transfer to another Faculty in line with your subjects. You must then participate in this Faculty Board election in December.
