What is OPAL?
OPAL - the online platform for academic teaching and learning - is the central learning platform of the TU Dresden and other Saxon universities. It can be used by all members of the TU Dresden with a valid ZIH user login as well as by guests.

- course enrolments
- learn and working groups
How to log in
- You need a valid user account of the TU Dresden Centre for Information Services (ZIH). With your matriculation you get an e-mail including a coupon ID. With this you can activate your user account via the Self Service Portal.
- Go afterwards to tu-dresden.de/opal, choose »TU Dresden« and click on »Login«.
- In the next dialog box enter your user name and password and click once more on »Login«.
