Santander Scholarships | MBA Essentials 2023 – LSE
London School of Economics and Political Science

Together with the LSE, Santander is offering 1,000 free scholarship places for the MBA Essentials 2023 scholarship program. The course equips participants with holistic entrepreneurial skills to succeed in any business environment - and with significantly less effort than completing a traditional full-time MBA.

The program is divided into ten different online modules. Each week, a new module is activated for completion, allowing participants to acquire expertise in a flexible, independent and self-structured manner. Participants engage in weekly contact with their classmates and LSE lecturers via cross-class forums and group discussions.

The program runs for ten weeks, is conducted 100% online, and is completely free of charge for all participants. Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate from the London School of Economics.

The course can be taken in English, Spanish or Portuguese.

Participation Requirements:
Participants must be at least 18 years at the time of application, and reside in any of the following: Germany, Spain, Poland, Portugal, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, UK, USA, or Uruguay.

After applying via the Scholarship Platform, completion of three tests is mandatory: Situational Judgment, Abstract Reasoning, and Numerical Reasoning.

Language Learning Platform 8Belts

In collaboration with 8Belts, Santander Universities is offering a total of 1,000 scholarships for language courses in German, Chinese and French.  8Belts is a language learning platform that can teach participants languages ten times faster than other traditional platforms. How does this happen?  Over four years of research, 8Belts has undertaken a complete mapping of each language with its Profitability per Word Index (PPI). A multidisciplinary team of mathematicians, linguists and engineers have assigned a mathematical ranking to each word, based upon its frequency and ability to form associations with other words. Thanks to this word ranking, the 8Belts method focuses on teaching words and expressions that are most relevant and useful in real spoken language.

Language of instruction is offered in Spanish, English, Portuguese and German, and the course has a duration of 12 weeks. The program includes the following elements:

• Hours on platform: 30 Hours
• Number of one-on-one sessions per participant: 10 sessions of 30 minutes each
• Group classes: 5 hours of group classes per week, webinar-style classes organized via language proficiency level, with access limited to a maximum of 50 people per class.
• Additional content: Weekly video newsletter and reading
• Conferences: 1 group motivational kick-off session at the beginning of the course
