The graduate of the month for August comes from the area of environmental protection and regional planning
1. Carlos Humberto Fajardo Uribe is the graduate of the month for August 2023.
Carlos Uribe first set his sights on Germany after participating in a radio program when he was at school. “After reading countless studies of the effects of climate change and environmental degradation, I wanted to study something where I could actively contribute to its solution,” he recalls.
He was especially fond of the SLUB and the institutes in Tharandt. As a regional ambassador, he spreads the word in Colombia about the various student opportunities at TUD, and helps out at any local university fairs.
