Dresden Student Days - the campus festival with tradition

From May 28 to June 15, the Studentenwerk Dresden and the Dresden student clubs once again invite you to the Dresden Student Days. For almost three weeks, students will have the opportunity to get to know Dresden's diverse student cultural life.

To kick things off, students can train their voices at the karaoke evening in the Gutzkowclub or swing to the sounds of the TU Big Band in the Bärenzwinger club on May 29. For cinema fans, the cult film The Rocky Horror Picture Show on May 30 in the Kino im Kasten (KIK) is a must.

Anyone who would like to go back to the Middle Ages is welcome to attend the MittelAlterFest organized by the student clubs Traumtänzer and Gag 18 from 30 May to 2 June on the meadow behind the Studentenwerk office.

The Dresden Night Hike, a joint event organized by the Studentenwerk and the Dresden student clubs, will take place on June 4. Students can expect acts of different musical styles in each club - from pop, rock, punk, ska and reggae to electro, drum'n'bass, disco and pop music, there is something for everyone.

On June 12, the UNI AIR band and DJ contest will take place on the meadow behind the Auditorium Center of TU Dresden. After two preliminary rounds, a total of 6 bands and 4 DJs will perform. The competition offers bands and DJs the opportunity to present their skills to a large audience and win one of the Student Union's sponsorship prizes. The audience and an expert jury will decide who receives the sponsorship prizes. Between the competition and the award ceremony, one of last year's winners, Amptray, will rock the stage. Admission is free.

The Student Days will conclude with the [ˈwʊdˌstɒk] Wiesen-Open-Air by the Novitatis and Wu 5 student clubs on June 15 in the open-air area behind the Fritz-Löffler-Straße 12 hall of residence.

The Dresden Student Days are already a tradition - they have been livening up the campus every summer semester since 1992, offering variety and entertainment.
