Historic steam train ride to Dippoldiswalde
Saturday, June 20, 2026
We will travel to Dippoldiswalde on the historic “Weißeritztalbahn” steam train. On the way, we will cross the Rabenauer Grund valley in the foothills of the Ore Mountains and pass the Malter dam. In Dippoldiswalde, we visit the archaeological museum and marvel at the finds from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Ore Mountains/Krušnohoří mining region, which are unique in Europe. They provide an insight into the life and work of medieval miners both above and below ground.
Your fee: EUR 7
