The public concert-reading featuring Alexander Estis and Tatjana Davis marks the kick-off of the accompanying course "Jewish Daily Life in Germany: Between Civil Rights, Anti-Semitism, and #NeverAgain," which will begin at TUD in the summer semester of 2026. The writer and journalist Alexander Estis, who served as Dresden’s city writer in 2025, will read from his works. In many of her compositions, musician Tatjana Davis explores the theme "What is Jewish life?". The event is also part of TUD’s contribution to “TACHELES – Year of Jewish Culture in Saxony” and is open to TUD members as well as interested members of the public.
