Individuals with vocational qualifications and previous study experience
Individuals with vocational qualifications (proof of vocational qualification required) are granted a university entrance qualification for further study in the same or a corresponding subject at all institutions of higher education pursuant to § 1 para 1 SächsHSFG, provided they have completed 2 semesters of study at a state or state-recognized institution of higher education and have proof of required academic performance.
To prove that you fulfill the requirements, you will need to provide a certificate of vocational education, a current certificate of enrollment and confirmation from your Examination Office that you have delivered the required academic performance of at least two semesters. Please note that you may only switch programs within the same or a corresponding subject. You cannot switch to a related subject (e.g. from Architecture to Civil Engineering).
To apply, please fill out the Appendix for individuals with vocational qualifications for the purpose of further study (only available in German) and submit all additionally required documents.
