Start of the First Class: TU Dresden’s Orientation Program 2025/26 Has Begun

The Orientation Program at TU Dresden successfully launched with the start of the 2025/26 winter semester.
During the introductory week from September 25 to October 2, the new participants were warmly welcomed on campus. Workshops on choosing a field of study, introductions to university tools and terminology, campus and SLUB library tours, as well as group activities like the Orientation Program Challenge offered participants first insights into university life and helped them get to know each other.
A key element of the week was creating each participant’s individual schedule: Based on their personal interests and goals, they selected suitable courses from a wide range of university classes.
