The School of Medicine with its Carl Gustav Carus Faculty of Medicine offers a broad professional and academic variety. More than 2.500 students are enrolled to degree courses like medicine, dentistry, public health and medical radiation sciences. International exchange is essential for outstanding teaching and cutting-edge research. Dresden University Medicine lives this idea with stuff members of 73 nationalities as well as collaborations with research teams on all continents. Der konsekutive Masterstudiengang Medical Radiation Science vermittelt Dir fundiertes Wissen in Physik, Chemie, Biologie, Technik und Medizin und kombiniert dies mit praxisnaher Ausbildung in zertifizierten klinischen Einrichtungen. Dabei erwirbst Du parallel zum Masterabschluss die Fachkunde als Medizinphysik-Experte. Durch die enge Kooperation mit dem Universitätsklinikum Carl Gustav Carus und dem Forschungszentrum OncoRay profitierst Du von einem interdisziplinären Netzwerk aus Forschung und klinischer Praxis. So wirst Du optimal auf die vielfältigen Aufgaben von Medizinphysik-Expert:innen vorbereitet – angefangen bei der Optimierung von Bestrahlungsplänen über die Qualitätssicherung bis hin zur Entwicklung neuer diagnostischer und therapeutischer Verfahren.
