It is the central task of the Dual Career Service at TU Dresden to provide advice and support for the partners of our newly appointed professors during the entire process of finding employment. Based on your career up to now and your personal plans and goals, we will look together for professional starting points in the Dresden area, both within the scientific system and beyond.

Our services include:

• Monitoring of the employment market and forwarding of open job postings
• Advising you on your job application and optimising your documents
• Career consulting and preparation of job interviews
• Providing information on and arranging contacts with employers in the region
• Providing information on the opportunities offered by the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit) and establishing contacts
• Establishing contacts regarding start-ups and self-employment
