A warm welcome at TU Dresden
Welcome & Get to know
Once a year, the university management of TU Dresden welcomes newly appointed professors at a festive reception, offering them the opportunity to get to know the members of the Rectorate personally and to network with other newly appointed professors across faculties.
In addition to the reception, an annual event on administrative topics is held under the auspices of the Chancellor. Under the name “Get to Know TUD Administration Services”, it provides insights into administrative structures and typical administrative processes at the university and thus enables participants to get to know relevant contact persons in the administration.
