Concert reading "What is a Jewish life?"

On April 15, 2026, TU Dresden invites you to a special concert reading entitled "What is a Jewish life?". The concert reading is open to the public and invites all interested parties to experience an inspiring evening of literature, music and exciting insights into Jewish life.
The event combines literature and music, performed by
- Alexander Estis: The writer and publicist, who was the city writer of the city of Dresden in 2025, will read from his works.
- Tatjana Davis: In many of her compositions, the musician deals with the question "What is a Jewish life?"
The concert reading also marks the start of the accompanying course "Jewish Everyday Life in Germany: Between Civil Rights, Anti-Semitism and #neveragain".
The event is taking place in cooperation with the state capital Dresden and is part of the TACHELES Year of Jewish Culture in Saxony.
