on the day of action "genialsozial" - Your work against poverty
On June 30, 2026, the day of action "genialsozial - Deine Arbeit gegen Armut" will take place. Under the patronage of Saxony's Minister President Michael Kretschmer, the Saxon Youth Foundation is initiating this event for the 22nd time. Companies, associations and other institutions can act as employers for Saxony's schoolchildren on this day.
Following on from the positive response of recent years, TU Dresden would like to actively participate again and is looking for interested organizational units that can offer students smaller tasks for this day that are often left undone in everyday life.
Young people aged 14 and over can be employed for up to 8 hours on this day and are covered by the school's accident and liability insurance during the event. The money raised will be donated by TU Dresden from central budget funds directly to "genialsozial - Deine Arbeit gegen Armut" and thus supports social projects locally in Saxony and worldwide.
The application process for the day of action is coordinated by Directorate Personnel (2). Once the feedback form has been received, the job offers from TU Dresden will be posted on the Saxon Youth Foundation portal at: https: //mitmachen.genialsozial.de/.
The applications then received from students are processed in Unit 2.4, Team 2.4.4. and then forwarded to the organizational units. All positions offered are also available to interested children of employees!
