A Broad Counseling Service - Comprehensively Tailored to Your Needs
To provide you with optimal support, we accompany you from the start of your position or the time you receive an offer until you accept a permanent professorship or another follow-up position. Our counseling program focuses on the following thematic areas:
(Junior/Visiting) Professorship or Junior Research Group Leader with Tenure Option

Leadership and Management / Status Definition: Support in assuming leadership and management roles and clarifying your position.

Research, Teaching, Transfer: Guidance in acquiring and implementing research projects, developing your research profile, didactic concepts, designing examinations, interacting with students, and knowledge transfer activities.

Our Counseling Formats - Individually Provided Services
The YOUProf program offers you confidential access to information and advice. We also see ourselves as guides and are happy to refer you to specific internal or external counseling services if needed (e.g., research funding, family service, psychological counseling, etc.).
Our offerings include:

Individual Counseling: Confidential discussions for individual clarification of questions and development of solution strategies.

Online Resources and Information Tools: Provision of handouts, materials, checklists, and FAQs.

Group Counseling and Workshops: Topic-specific offerings for exchange and collaborative problem-solving, as well as networking.

Voluntariness: Utilizing our counseling services is, of course, voluntary. Individual development is only possible in an environment where you feel you can open up.

Transparency: We clearly present the services and conditions of our counseling.

Confidentiality: All concerns are treated with the utmost confidentiality. No information or impressions from counseling sessions will be passed on to third parties. If it is helpful for finding a solution to involve other parties in the counseling process, this will only happen with the consent of the person seeking advice.
